Kõnnu küla elanikele ei meeldi rongipeatuse kadumine
Käesoleva aasta mai lõpust ei peatu enam Kõnnu külas Pärnumaal reisirongid, kirjutab Pärnu Postimees. 76 püsielanikuga küla elanikud peavad rongipeatust vajalikuks ning süüdistavad ministeeriumit, et anti kohalikega läbi rääkimata luba Kõnnus reisirongide peatus likvideerida. Kohalikud peavad mõistusevastaseks uue ooteplatvormi hinda, mis on Edelaraudteelt majandus-ja kommunikatsiooniministeeriumile saadetud kirjas väidetud olevat 1,6 miljonit krooni. Samuti pole kohalike arvestuste kohaselt aastas rongipeatuse kasutajaid mitte poolesaja ringis, vaid 6 korda rohkem.
