Lääne-Viru Maavalitsus väljastas hankedokumendid Rakvere linna- ja linnalähiliinide nr 1, 2, 3 ja 5 liinide riigihankeks. Dokumendid esitati kuuele firmale: Mulgi Reisid, GoBus, SEBE, M.K. Reis-X, Tapa Autobussipark ning ATKO Grupp.
Pakkumisi saab esitada 12. detsembrini, uus vedaja hakkab vedama 1. jaanuarist. Reisija jaoks midagi ei muutu, kuigi varem oli kahtluse all bussiliikluse säilimine Rakvere linnas.
