OÜ Galaton, mis teenindab Harjumaal kommertsliine, juhatuse liige Lembit Puusepp ütles, et praegu on väikevedajatel väga raske, kuid Galaton siiski tegevust ei plaani lõpetada, kirjutab logistikauudised.net.
Avalike doteeritavate liinide vedajatel pole tähtsust, kui suur on piletitulu, sest piletitulu korjab Harjumaa Ühistranspordikeskus ning raha jagatakse vedajale liinide teenindamise eest vastavalt avaliku teenindamise lepingule.
Puusepa sõnul on riigil kommertsvedajatest ükskõik, panus on avalikel liinidel, tema sõnul on Harjumaa Ühistranspordikeskus viimasel ajal tõenäoliselt piletitulu suurendamise eesmärgil liine muutnud. Võrreldes avalike liinidega ei pakuta kommertsliinidel kuupiletit ning kommertsliinidel ei saa ka piletihinda tõsta, sest siis ei oleks üldse reisijaid.
Harju maavanem otsustas, et Galatoni liiniluba 237. liinile marsruudil Tallinn - Keila-Joa ei pikendata ning alates 12. aprillist vedaja enam sel liinil ei sõida.
